Green Garden Township Plan Commission

The Plan Commission consists of 5-7 volunteer members appointed by the Supervisor and approved by the Township Board.

Matters heard by the Plan Commission include applications for Map Amendments (zoning changes) and requests for Special Use Permits (SUPs).

Applicants are required to appear before the Plan Commission (meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of the month) and then before the Town Board of Trustees (second Monday of the month) for approval before proceeding at the County level.

This provides two opportunities for residents of Green Garden Township to express their views before the matter is heard on a County level.
