A “Green” activity offered to Green Garden residents is our Mulch Program. Our brush recycling and tree trimming program generates a large amount of wood chips which the Road District can deliver to residents.

The program is as follows: Township residents can complete the mulch program request/disclaimer that will be put on a delivery list. Mulch can be requested from May to October, depending on the weather and availability.

Small load requests are 4 to 5 yards, and large load requests are 8 to 9 yards.

Disclaimer: Wood chips are only dropped in driveways. Once dropped, the resident assumes all responsibilities. The township will not come back to pick up wood chips once they are delivered.
